Karen Keefe is an emerging photographer and midwife currently based on the northwest coast of Lutruwita/Tasmania, with a growing body of work focusing on natural landscapes and seascapes, conservation and geological and nature abstractions, while documenting and highlighting the rapidly increasing need for climate action.

An an American-Australian, born and raised in Northern California, Karen also documents wildlife, birth, teaches Calmbirth, and brings the Heart of Yoga into all aspects of life. With an aim to portray connection with nature and the importance of protecting areas of high conservation value, especially Takayna / Tarkine and alpine regions, through the lens as I see and feel it.
